Stress Less Pamper Evening

So it’s been one of those days. Been totally stressed and kind of freaking out about work and the move to Italy!! So I thought I’d have a little ‘me time’ and indulge in a little pampering.

Earlier I painted my nails (blog post here), then ran myself a nice warm bubble bath and shoved my hair into a good old pineapple bun. To get those awesome bubbles I used the Radox ‘Stress Relief’ which smells like a luxurious spa! It’s so calming and moisturising. I lit a few candles including my Ralph Lauren candle in ‘Northern Coast’ and my Yankee Candle in ‘Dragon Fruit’. They both smell beautiful and so refreshing!!

Before getting into the bath I applied the Sanctuary 5 Minute Thermal Detox Mask. I bought the sample for £3 in boots and I’ve got 4 applications from it! So a totally bargain and I definitely want to buy the full one. It stays gooey the whole time so it doesn’t feel like you’ve applied cement to your face after about 3 minutes. I really love it and my skin feels so soft and revived after.

I poured myself a glass of Pinot with lots of ice and a glass of water to keep hydrated as a hot bath can suck a fair amount of hydration out of you!! I turned on some Modern Family (best. Show. Ever) and in I got. Aaand relax!

I feel like getting into a candle filled bath is the best way to give yourself a little R&R after one of those days!! Because sometimes you just need to have a little wind down!! I think people should just dedicate one night to completely relax and treat yourself, stops unnecessary stress and enables you to live a lot happier!!

Whilst having a little laugh with Cam and Mitch (if you don’t know who I’m referring to, then you seriously need to reevaluate your tv shows 😜), I used my favourite relaxation threesome…Soap & Glory’s ‘Clean On Me’ shower-gel, ‘Flake Away’ exfoliator and ‘The Righteous Butter’ body lotion. They all have the same classic Soap & Glory fragrance, which is so calming and just amazing! Every time I use them I always get compliments!

After moisturising I used the La Roche Posay Effaclar Lotion Astringent Micro-Exfloriante followed by L’Oreal Skin Perfection Serum and Triple Active Moisturiser for normal to combination skin. I’ll go into more detail with this products in my next blog post on 999 skin care haul! Finally finishing off with Boots Botanics All Bright eye roll-on and my favourite lip balm at the moment – Bert’s Bees Honey Lip Balm.

Hope this inspired you to give yourself a little R&R because I’m sure you deserve it!

Lots of love,
Alice xx
