Fashion and Beauty Autumn Edit! Feat. My Michael Kors Baby!

Hello Guys!
I hope you’re all loving the transition to the colder season! Although here in Florence it’s still rather toasty! Sadly!! Well sadly for me as my jumper obsession has to be put on hold, which is pretty painful!! I just want to wear my jumpers!! Whilst in Milan I went a bit crazy and bought a couple!! Including the outfit featured here!! Hope you like this full/autumnal look just as much as I do!

Let’s start with the makeup! For the base I used Nars Radiance Enhancing Light Optimizing Primer, applied with my fingers to warm up the product in order for it to blend into my skin perfectly. For foundation I used Nars Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc (applied with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush. I really love this duo – I’ve written a review on them here if you want to have a little read. To conceal imperfections Makeup For Ever’s Full Cover Extreme Camouflage Cream Concealer and then to brighten the under eye area Marc Jacob’s Concealer Pen in 0 Bright Idea did the jobs – if you want a review on these just let me know! To contour I used Benefit’s Hoola, which is amazing for contouring since it has cooler undertones to create the illusion of shadows – used with Real Techniques Contour Brush. For blush I used Benefit Coralista – with Real Techniques Duo Fibre Face Brush, I really love this blusher since it super subtle with a slight shimmer, I didn’t want anything too obvious since I was opting for a bold lip, so I thought this shade gave a nice balance. To add a little highlight, I’m obsessed with Topshop’s Glow highlighter in Polished, it gives the most beautiful, well glow to the tops of the cheekbones. Love it!!

For the eyes I used MAC’s Bisque for the base and then Woodwinked in the crease with MAC’s 217 and Sephora’s Crease Shadow brushes. I really love this combination as it’s really warming and I feel it complements the hazel colour of my eyes and my complexion. I then added a subtle winged eyeliner using Kiko’s Lasting Gel eyeliner with my MAC 210 brush , which is pretty amazing! It does not budge all day!!! Under the lower eyelashes I smudged Rimmel’s Soft Kohl liner in 011 Sable Brown. Mascara was Tartes’ Lights, Camera, Lashes, which totally deserves all its rage!! It’s fabulous and really transforms my lashes! Last but not least the bold lip was Kiko’s Ace of Diamonds lipstick in number 27 – I used MAC’s 316 lip brush to outline the lips then filled them in with the bullet – I find the especially useful to get a clean finish with this lipstick since the bullet isn’t a great shape for accurately filling in the cupid bow area. IMG_2055.JPG

Whilst in Milan, I went into a shop called Brandy Melville. It’s awesome! I’d never heard of it before and I really loved their collection! I heard they have a shop in Florence and I’m sure it’ll be detrimental to my bank!! Uh oh!! Both the cropped jumper (Abi Knit 26€) and skater skirt (18€) are from there. Their clothes are pretty reasonable and are similar to Topshop prices, maybe a tad cheaper.

I accessorised with a chunky chain necklace from H&M (£5.99), Lace trimmed ankle socks from Primark (£2.50), ankle boots that I’m loving from Zara (think they were around 27€) and finally my Michael Kors beauty – Sophie in Black Calf Hair!

I hope you love this look as much as I do!

Lots of love,

Alice xx
