London is full of amazing treasures down every street, The Alchemist is undeniably a treasure that shines bright. I recently went to The Alchemist with the Fam for a meal and drinks. It’s a short walk from London Liverpool Street Station, which is pretty ideal! It’s an amazing place and the cocktails are out of this world! As the name suggests, it embodies an alchemy theme, with a twist of vintage and modern decor. You can go for a meal or simply drink the night away with your friends at their spacious bar.
There are endless cocktails to choose from, with many exemplifying contemporary innovations of molecular mixology! They’re pretty incredible. When they’re served, everyone turns arounds as it’s quite a show! Not only are they a treat for the eyes, they’re a treat for the tastebuds!! Our waitress was great, as she gave recommendations of cocktails that suit your favourite flavours and alcohol.
This was the Mad Hatters Cocktail, which serves two people for £20.
The price range for the cocktails is pretty standard London, but definitely on the lower half of the price range, which is amazing considering the impressive visual effects and thought that goes into creating each cocktail.
The Colour Changing and Flavour Changing cocktails!
The food is also very good. There’s options of Tapas type starters and regular. For the main courses there are a range of different foods, from Asian to American, I could have chosen everything on the menu! I opted for the Chorizo to start and Special Fried Chicken for main. Both were very nice indeed. Price range again was inexpensive and by no means fine dining prices!!
Zombie and Hot and Cold Espressotini
Additionally you can sign up for a cocktail masterclass, which looks amazing!! Definitely something to add to the bucket list! Overall a huge thumbs up from me! Let me know if you’ve been before and anything you recommend for my next trip! (which hopefully won’t be too long!)
