I had been looking for a palette that includes red and orange tones, and every palette I had looked at was sold out! I had heard about this palette, and saw that Mrs Kardashian-West was additionally a fan, so I just had to get my hands on it. Fortunately Father Christmas (aka. Mum) managed to get this for me and I LOVE IT!
I have used this pretty much every day since I got it for Christmas, and it’s beautiful. The colours are so highly pigmented hence you only need to use the tiniest amount of shadow, they’re so soft and blend like a dream. Tempera is the best base, and Burnt Orange is a gorgeous transition shade. Red Oche and Primavera are probably my favourite shades. I’ve used each and every shade, which is rare when it comes to palettes, since there is usually the odd shade that I don’t particularly like.
This palette had beaten all my MAC and Urban Decay palettes out of the window. You can create so many different looks, from really neutral eyes to smokey, editorial looks. The brush that comes with the palette is also actually rather good, although I tend to reach for my own Spectrum brushes.
Did I mention that I love this palette?
However, the only downside is the packaging, like the Urban Decay Naked 1 palette , the felt top get so dirty and attracts so much dust, as you can see in the photo. Also the I feel it’s not the most hardwearing with it being cardboard, so it could potentially end up becoming really flimsy and floppy, which isn’t ideal! With such an expensive brand, I’d have thought they’d have put more investment into their packaging.
You can get this from CultBeauty for £41.00. I cannot recommend this palette more, and I hope they bring out some more palettes that are as amazing as this one!
Lots of love,
