Prepare to go back to the 70s with Bobby Fitzpatrick in West Hampstead, London. This cool new diamond inside the treasure chest of North London opened early this year and has already made quite the impression. I went here on Easter Monday after my Brother raved about it, since he is a resident of West Hampstead, we thought we’d pop in after dropping him back home. I must say, it’s pretty amazing. Despite the fact that I am a 90s child, I have always admired the 70s and all it’s clashing prints galore.
Bobby Fitzpatrick specialises in cocktails and pizza, what more could you ask for?! Now I can’t review the pizza as I am yet to try them, however, I can say that the cocktails are pretty awesome. I opted for a Mai Tai, which was lovely, very stomach-warming indeed…Their condensed cocktail menu mainly consists of rum based drinks, however there are some vodka and gin ones thrown into the mix.
The decoration is amazing, it’s quite funny how some of the furniture and decor seemed to have been picked straight out of my Great Grandparent’s old house! The clashing and garish wall paper, to the wooden duck ornaments and hanging plants.
I would definitely recommend popping in if you’re in the area of West Hampstead. If their pizza is as good as their cocktails and attention to detail, then you’re in for a good treat! The music is additionally every 70s lovers dream, I can 100% say this after seeing first hand the pure joy and foot tapping that came from the direction of my Dad!
Looking forward to my next trip there!!
