So I was on the prowl for a new mascara since my beloved Fairy Drops was running low. I wanted to find a good high street mascara because I feel that you really don’t need to spend the dosh for an amazing mascara. I’ve always been a fan of Max Factor mascara, and I believe their False Lash Effect mascara is amazing. I was close to repurchasing this, but I’m all about trying new things and the lady at the counter (in Chelmsford Boots – who’s customer service was fab! I’ve had this mascara for a while now, and I wanted to really test it out, since at first I was not particularly impressed with it. I love Charlotte Tilbury, I think her makeup and skin care is amazing, it’s innovative, luxurious and genuinely high quality products. Hence why I was rather disappointed with this mascara after having seen all the hype about its launch.
I bought this a while back when I was in Florence to wear for my graduation (albeit forgot to take it), however that was probably a good thing! Despite the raving reviews it has – although this seems to be mainly for their original mascara – I was pretty disappointed with this product.
